Randomly Crazy Ideas

If you were born a camera-friendly person, you can ignore this post since you know it best in front of the zooming lens. If you were not, don't worry. You are not the only person and not everyone feel comfortable when their whole image being watched and taken. I know this because i am myself sometimes expressionless and body language dead-lock after all. My body turns pretty stiffed and my hands cannot find a good position besides resting in my pockets. My lips turn dry and a smile is hardly natural. Enough for this little drama.

Luckily there are rules to be learnt in almost any aspects of life-from learning to walk and talk to taking a picture. Unlike a model who needs to subconsciously communicate through his or her facial expression and body language in order to sell or promote a product, we only need to have a simply lovely photo. First thing first, SMILE is the most important ingredient of your whole picture recipe. If you can't do anything else, just smile. A way to find your best smile can be:
- looking into the mirror and smile and see whether you smile too much or too little.
- looking at your previous photos and see which one has the best smile. Next time, all you have to do is to follow that picture.
- say CHEESE or GEEZE.
- pretend that the photographer is your lover and you must smile at him/her from the bottom of your heart.
Now you have mastered your smiling skill, we can jump to body language, mainly your hands. One of the most popular gesture is a V finger. That's very simple yet quite universal. As a process, we can learn from easy steps before we move up to complex hip-hop move. Therefore, I have compiled a selection of various photo styles that would help as a basic idea.

The 4th of July, 2008 in Bellevue Park

In the United States, Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, picnics, concerts, baseball games, political speeches and ceremonies, and various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States. For full article read here.

The Independence Day is one of the biggest memorable events in America. Everyone has been waiting for the celebration of this ceremony weeks or months before its arrival. The most significant part of the 4th of July is the massive firework of the year. Pictures can say a thousand words more than i could think of. Here you are.

The Mask Of Beauty

Each and every day, human-being is becoming more and more obsessed with the way they look. They would spend several hours in front of the mirror to make sure there hair is eye-catching or in 2008 hairstyle catalogue, and their face is full of attraction. They get upset by a tiny pimple or any signs of make-down.

We are living in the world of competition. The one who has big sparkling eyes, long eyebrows, thin shinny lips, pointy nose, multi-color highlighted hair, curve body, etc. is the winner. The one who were born with not-so-good-looking figure or with disabilities are automatically dismissed. But this is not TRUE.

If we were taught from the day of our birth that the former type of person is considered ugly; on the other hand, the latter is pretty, then the whole perception of beauty is a contrast. In other words, we will logically see pretty person ugly and ugly person pretty.

The face is probably the most important part of body when the subject of physical beautiness is being discussed. Nevertheless, when the real beautiness is being evaluated, the personality trait consumes more importance. Ironically, beautiful face is nothing rather a structure of well-formed shape of face bone filled with good complex of skin cells or tissues to form organs such as eyes, ears, nose, etc.

Sometimes, i got stunned when i looked at my reflection in the mirror and noticed the detail of my appearance that i never pay attention before. Today if we start to notice the detail of each person face we meet, we will see deep down a real person behind that skin and feel an intimate connection. Don't just look at the surface, but don't give a prolong stare either. Look straight into the eyes and feel their presence mentally wired.

Our physical appearance plays a role as representation of who we physically are. But our brain is commander of who we emotionally, mentally, spiritually are. Is the person you look in the mirror really yourself? What if all we see is not truly what we see? Do you believe that one person sees things differently from anther? Who are we exactly? Would you rather have a good-looking friends who are not really listening to you or an average-looking friends whom you feel comfortable talking to?

I am writing until i don't know how to end my post with a valuable idea. I couldn't think of anything better this short quote which summarizes it all: Beauty does not last, but personality. The person you see as pretty or handsome today cannot be guaranteed to be the same next month or next year. The reverse is also true that the person you see as ugly cannot be guaranteed to be the same next month or next year. So why not treat everyone equally the way you want to be treated? Take Britney Spear as an example. She was one of the most heavenly, angelic, desired-to-be-with, beautiful females on earth. How long does it take for her to become less attractive? Not very long. By the way, who knows if tomorrow she will rock again? lolz. I was a fan of her; moreover, i am still a fan of her no matter what.

Oops, i forgot to mention that the green face on top is me. What inspires me to write this post is that artifact face i made from a little toy. Though my appreance always changes slighly from time to time, i will stay the same person internally.

SUPERCUT HAIRCUT

I hate to have a haircut because it's darn expensive in the U.S. I could have my hair cut ten times or for a whole year in my hometown,Cambodia, for the same amount of money, not to mention the tips. One interesting fact is that a hairdresser must have a license to perform their task.

The estimate time of my haircut is three minutes. That's the shortest time i have ever sat a haircut seat. As soon as i sat down, i was asked "How short do you want your hair cut?" OH man, that was hard to answer. Should i say very short, short enough for two months, meduim short, or whatever looks good. Ok let's look at the photo (a) before and (b) after the haircut.
